Fully gluten-free tea room with lactose-free options, where we had breakfast several times. The place is very nice, both inside and outside. For lunch they also have a menu of salty dishes for a quick meal.
On the weekend for brunch they have pretty much all the tables booked, so if you want to have a late breakfast or lunch I recommend booking.
At the Cafe Gruner Salon you can find a delicious gluten-free Sacher cake. We also tasted two other desserts, a cheesecake and a mascarpone cake, both good.

Allergiker Cafè
Address: Wiedner Hauptstrasse 35

Small coffee with completely gluten-free and lactose-free products.
The outdoor veranda with a few tables is very nice. The choice of products is not vast (some biscuits and cakes), but what we tasted was very good.
We were there at mid-afternoon and we had a slice of chocolate cake and some cookies.
For brunch and lunchtime they also made various savoury dishes including crepes, savoury pies and sandwiches.

Fuhrich
Address: Fuhrichgasse 6

Restaurant in the centre with most of menu as gluten-free or adaptable. Here you can find many gluten-free Austrian specialities such as Wiener Schnitzel. The schnitzel was very good, while I didn’t like the potato side dish: it’s a typical Austrian side dish, cold and with a slightly sour sauce, which was not to my taste.
The place is nice, with several tables outside too.

Gasthaus Zum Wohl
Address: Stumpergasse 61

Completely gluten-free and lactose-free restaurant where you can taste many typical Viennese dishes. The quality of the food (at least what we ate that day) is medium, not bad, but nothing exceptional. The advantage of this restaurant is obviously that it’s 100% gluten-free and therefore completely safe, in a country where attention to contamination and to gluten-free is not really high. Even if it isn’t great, in principle it’s still decent and we recommend it anyway.
